Happiness is...

I saw a picture in Deseret Book a couple of weeks ago and it had the neatest quote on it. It simply said: Happiness is when you've gotten really good at being you. I LOVE this saying. Through all that's happened during the past couple years of my life... I've decided that it's time to rebuild myself and chip away at some of these walls I've been putting up. I decided that the best way for Me to be happy is to just be ME. Figure out who the Lord wants me to become and just be O.K. being ME!! Cuz let's face it... I am pretty cool! LOL ---> Nuff said! :o)

FINALLY! A blog design I'm thrilled about!

YEAH! Thanks to Lelou Blogs, Michelle Underwood, and Kevin & Amanda... I've finally compounded all of their elements in to my FAVORITE blog design yet. I made some changes of course and added some new elements to personalize it, but I'm very happy with the results. I'm still trying to figure out why the post title fonts won't change to the fonts I want them to be, but I'm satisfied for now. Now that I've got a background that I'm happy with, I suppose it's time to actually start updating my blog on a more regular basis. I'll try... BUT I make no promises... LOL!! We'll see.

Blog Facelift

So I've been learning a lot about creating blog backgrounds and headers and thought I would try my hand at adding other elements to my blog as well. It's a work in progress, but I'm excited to see how it's all going to turn out once I'm finished. *anticipated squeal*

Random Thoughts....

What a wonderful Thanksgiving I had. The FOOD was extraordinary and the company was even better. MY FAMILY!!! I love my family dearly and I'm so very grateful that they are mine! It was just a small event this year. Melissa & Jeff were with his family and Kenny & Cammie were with some dear friends. Dawn & Gary stayed in Idaho this year and Erik of course is in L.A. so he was missed as well. It was just Mom, Dad, Rachel, Grandma, Lynn & I and the boys. Wonderful day!! Lynn & I also went shopping for the first time on "Black Friday" (I hate that it's called that though) and rather enjoyed it. I know, I know... you're all saying WHAT?!?!? But seriously it was VERY productive and we saved a TON of money. And to top it all off... I'm pretty much DONE with my Christmas shopping this year. YEAH!!! Maybe a few stocking stuffer treats, but other than that... this Holiday Season is for ENJOYING with my sweet family. May we all SHOW our gratitude for all that we have AND for our trials as well... for they help to build us up and make us stronger. I'm grateful for the opportunity I have been given at this time in my life for making positive changes and for personal growth. I pray that I can follow the will of the Father and have enough Courage to become who He wants me to be. Only then can TRUE happiness and PURE JOY be found.

"Trick or Treat... smell my feet...!"

Halloween was so much fun this year. We went "Trick or Treating" with my brother Kenny and his family over in Daybreak. It was such beautiful weather and the kids had a blast. I'll post more pics, but I thought I should at least get SOME up seeing as how it's almost Thanksgiving!! Hope all of you out there had as much fun on Halloween as we did!
